Sales & Marketing professionals urgently required by leading Pharmaceuticals Company

The Company and the Role

Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical organisation with an extensive portfolio of products and medicines that provide treatment and cures for diseases across abroad range of therapeutic areas. There is an urgent requirement for an Assistant Manager (Sales & Marketing) role which provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for individuals with a passion for sales, marketing and business development. This will be a permanent hire on a full time basis and is an urgent requirement.

The successful candidate will be joining an expanding team responsible for the sales, marketing and business development in Singapore for the Diabetes product portfolio. The manager for this role is a successful professional with years of experience in the business to pass on to the right person. Responsibilities for the successful candidate include:

  1. Develop, implement and be accountable for sales & product marketing plans which optimize profitability, market share and revenue growth in the short and long term. 
  2. Formulate and implement product marketing strategies and programs to ensure share of market, and profitability of products. 
  3. Ensure effective control and monitor of sales & marketing results within designated marketing and sample budget. 
  4. Analyze competitive position of company products, define unique selling points for managed products and prepare training and material for sales to deliver key messages. 
  5. Conduct market research programs. Supervise and co-ordinate advertising programs and PR events 

About You

Applicants should have at least 2 to 5 years experience in Pharmaceuticals or Biopharmaceuticals industry as well as a Bachelor Degree or higher in medical related field, marketing, commerce. Individuals must come from a sales & marketing/business development background. Applicants are to be well versed in the use of Excel and Powerpoint. This role would suit highly enthusiastic people with good communication skills who enjoy thinking out of the box to formulate strategies for market penetration and development.
